"As engaging and useful as the internet can be, it is prudent to take measure to keep children safe from potential; harm. Internet safety involves education about possible dangers and clear boundaries for children as they use the Internet." (ehow, 2015)

Privacy –what is it? “Internet privacy involves the right or mandate of personal privacy concerning the storing, repurposing, provision to third parties, and displaying of information pertaining to one self via the Internet.” (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/internet_privacy)
Getnetwise provides children, teens and adults with information regarding Internet privacy. The website provides opportunities for parents and children to learn about the risks of putting yourself out there on the internet or online, it also teaches parents and children to search and browse for internet safety products. There are links to different websites for families to visit together, and learn how to identify online trouble and get law enforcement contact information.

Netiquette –what is it? “Netiquette is etiquette on the internet. Since the Internet change rapidly, its netiquette does too, but its still usually based on the golden rule. The need for a sense of netiquette arises mostly when sending disturbing emails, posting on usenet groups, or chatting.” (whatis.techtarget.com/definition/netiquette)
